Ye Olde Tavern RP [OPEN]

Cicada was sitting at the bar, her long, anthromorphic legs crossed much like one would expect from a human, hoof tapping and scraping against the hardwood floor to the rhythm of what ever the bards were playing. She wore a dress of loose silks, draped around her and flowing around her hooves. In her hair were woven flowers, nestled beside two large ram horns, polished and white. She will look up casually at the next person to enter, batting her lashes once before turning her eyes back to her drink.

Teriyani had been spending the last few days out in the thick forests that surrounded the territory she resided in. On a monthly mission to obtain the resources her small Elven village needed to keep themselves sustained, She ventured to her usual place of rest and entertainment. A place called The Merry Maiden, where everyone was welcome so long as you didn't cause trouble. She intended to rest up for the night and continue her endeavors in the morning. Checking traps, tracking animals and collecting any herbs, medicinal plants, and berries she could find. She was good at what she did, so she would always have something to give to the proprietor of the lovely tavern. A pelt, some meat, what have you.

She wore the outfit of a traveling ranger. Dark tanned leather from head to toe, taught to her skin to keep her agile and able to move as stealthy as possible. Straps on either of her legs held one sheathed dagger each which had ivory handles carved with intricate designs, made by the best blacksmiths of her village. Strapped across her chest was the leather bag she carried any supplies she needed, as well as a quiver full of arrows. She wore her bow on her back as well.

With the pelt she had skinned and tanned for the owner of The Merry Maiden in hand, she sauntered in the front door. A few of the regulars called her name and greeted her with kindness. She smiled and had small banter with them on her way to take her spot at the bar. Basically, any open spot.

The door swings open shortly after the elf finds a seat and in steps a man in almost regal finery, black and reds adorning the suit of the rather tall broad man. A nod is given to the barkeep as a pair of less than savory types glance up to see Liam Blackburn as he stalks forward, leaving the door slightly open, and settles into a seat at a vacant table. The two that glanced up glance back at each other and make a mad dash for the door, slamming it shut behind them as the barkeep shakes her head and begins to double... or perhaps triple the food prepared for tonight while mumbling something under her breath.

He turned his gaze to the cloven hoofed woman and offered a wide grin and a slight nod while flicking his hood back to reveal that most of his hair was cut rather short and his face sported a few scars among his thick, sandpaper-like stubble.

The barkeep sighs at the entrance of Liam, and decides that after the cook has been informed to check in on the new elf and prepare to take the Red Cap's order.

"What will it be, miss elf? I see you brought my new pelt" She grinned at the girl, "your drinks are on the house tonight."

Cicada turned her attention to the male who entered soon after the elf sat down near her. Teriyani could easily hear the satyr groan and rub her eyes. "Not him, my head already hurts..." She'd whisper, before clearing her throat and quickly primping herself, like a bird preening its feathers.

"Liam, daaarling!" She opened her arms dramatically, shooting the elf a 'kill me' look, before sauntering over to embrace the large man.

"Its been ages, really! Where have you been, eating the other taverns out of business?"

Teriyani smiled and handed the pelt to the barkeep, ordering her ususal ale. She was a woman of simple tastes but not to be mistaken for someone who settles for second best.

"You know I can pay too, if you'd like. This is just for keeping me company all these years."

Taking a sip of her Ale, Teriyani listened carefully to the distressed satyr. She clearly wasn't amused to see this /Liam/ fellow. Although her reaction was rather amusing. She sat quietly, making sure there wasn't going to be any trouble, all the while gaining a little amusement at the display.
